Wellness Wednesday is an initiative started by Dr. Patrick Berner and Dr. Eric Uveges, both doctors of physical therapy, that aims at spreading public awareness for living a healthier lifestyle. Done in a manner that praises the littlest accomplishments, Wellness Wednesday is your day to make a change. It doesn’t matter whether the change is big or small, just pick one thing that can improve your health and give it a try. Don’t burden yourself with trying to become a health freak overnight; we prefer you to enjoy the smaller victories.

We know that you’ve probably tried living a healthier life but may have gotten discouraged along the way. Don’t worry! We are here to motivate you! The little changes you make will add up and over time, and they can make a huge impact on your life. The shift towards a healthier life starts with you. So take action for yourself, your family, and friends by making today the day you start living life to the fullest.

Now, what’s the best way to spread awareness for living healthier? Provide proof of your accomplishments! So take a selfie of your wellness victory, tag it with #WellfieWednesday, and post it to your social media accounts. Not only will it give proof of your path to a healthier life, but it’ll also give other people ideas for how they too can make a change.

A few ideas for a small victory:
